Our area or ‘guard’ as we call it, starts at Penhale Point (Penhale Army Camp) to Trenance Point just past Mawgan Porth. This area encompasses all the major, busy Newquay beaches such as Holywell Bay, Crantock, Fistral, Tolcarne, Porth Beach and Watergate Bay and all the coastline in between hence why we are one of the busiest Coastguard teams in Cornwall.
A dedicated, highly trained team of 14 volunteers are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
