Want to help raise money for the Newquay Coastguard Association?
We are currently fundraising for welfare equipment for our all terrain trailer which will provide search teams with a central point to return to for refreshments and warmth on lengthy cliff shouts, or where we may have other teams joining us. It can also provide valuable shelter for the family & friends of those missing or in danger during an anxious period of waiting. So it really will be a pivotal element to our call outs. Our first fundraising target is £3000.
The sky’s the limit on how creative you would like to be and what activities you would like to do to get fundraising for our good cause. Some inspiring fundraising ideas have included:
- A sponsored slim by slimmers at Newquay Slimming World
- Fish & Chip supper
- Pirate Day – schools and offices alike get involved and charge £ to dress and talk like a pirate for the day
- Quiz Nights
- Raffles
- Sponsored Walk (please be careful on the coastal paths though!)
- Sponsored Silence (always a hit with schools and parents)
- Car boot sales
When your fundraising event has finished and you have gathered your donations, please submit them here!
Thank you.Don’t forget to let us know all about your fundraising antics either via email newquaycoastguard@gmail.com or Like our Facebook page @NewquayCoastguard to post your pics & videos.
